This IGP Comtés Rhodanien white is a brand new cuvée from Christophe Pacalet.  The vines are located in the village of La Chapelle de Guinchay north of the Rhône Valley and Lyon just to the south of Beaujolais on clay/siliceous soil, and old, stony alluvium. 100% Marsanne, it shows a fresh and gourmet character - white stone fruits and floral bouquets, a perfect link between Beaujolais and the Rhône Valley. Stunning little sipper, this one can chew through food or stand up entirely on its own.
